Supply Letter

 

✏️  Please purchase the following items to ensure your student is prepared for all courses. 

✏️  We may collect some of the supplies on the first days of school to ensure that all students have the supplies they need in class. The lockers are not that big to store it all, and we find that our students are better prepared for class when we help them manage certain supplies.

✏️  We appreciate your cooperation and generosity.

 

LA/SS/Math/Science:

• One (1)- package of colored markers (10pk)

• One (1) - Package of Crayola colored pencils (8-12 pack)

• Two (2) pkgs- 4 black expo markers (Math/Science)

• Two (2) - Package of 5 different colored highlighters

• Four (4) - pads of Post-Its (3x3 minimum)

• Six (6) Pack- of blue or red pens (Math)

• One Hundred (100)- standard #2 pencils- this may seem excessive, but you would be amazed at how many pencils are lost on the floors in our school on any given day. We have several students that need to “borrow” a pencil DAILY simply because they can’t find one of their own to use.

• One (1)- 1” 3 ring binder (SS)

• One (1) - Packages of wide paper filler 100 ct (Math)

• Two (2)- composition notebooks (Science)

• One (1) - Spiral Notebook (Math)

• Two (2)- Composition Notebooks (Science)

• Three (3)- plastic coated 2 pocket folders (LA/Take Home)- the uncoated folders fall apart too easily and you will find yourself replacing them often. The plastic coated ones “survive the year” much better.

• One (1)- drawstring bag (These are the nylon fabric type/thin backpacks that we will use to carry our independent reading books and supplies. We plan to put 2 books, pencils and post-it notes inside.) 

• One (1) - Chromebook Case and/or Sleeve (Examples: Gumdrop, UZBL)

• Optional - Chromebook Insurance (Look for email from District- Approximately $30)

• One (1) - Package of erasers (block or cap is fine)

• One (1) - Zippered Pencil Pouch (no boxes- they break and fall off the desks easily)

• One (1) - Safety Goggles in a LABELED Zip-loc bag (Be sure that you bring goggles as opposed to safety glasses.  Do not bring ski goggles, swimming goggles, or goggles with tinted lenses. Goggles should feel comfortable to wear.)

• One (1) - Headphones to leave at school in a LABELED Zip-loc bag (not wireless/Bluetooth)

 

Sra. Ospina (Spanish)- at some point this school year

• One (1) - 1" three ring binder 

• One (1) - pack of lined paper

• One (1) - Package of 3" x 5" index cards

• One (1) - Can of Lysol or Clorox Wipes

Art

• One (1) - Art Sketchbook (bound or spiral bound, any size)

Optional (but highly appreciated) Donations for the Classroom:

• One (1) - Bottle of Purell Hand Sanitizer

• Three (3) - Cans of Lysol or Clorox Wipes (or more if you’d like)

• Two (2) - Rolls of Paper Towels

• Two (3) - Boxes of Tissues

• One (1)- pack of white printer paper
