Welcome to all incoming 5th Graders and any new Lower and Upper Middle School students! The district is happy to announce 1:1 Take Home Chromebook pickups for new and incoming 5th Graders, and NEW 6th thru 8th Graders. As part of the continued initiative, the district requires all students 5th-8th grade to use district Chromebooks. Remember these Chromebooks will be take-home/bring to school devices. 8th grade students will return the device at the end of the school year as they prepare for the Bring Your Own Device program at the high school.
Details for Chromebook Pickup:
- Please read and agree to the Chromebook Acceptance and 2026-27 AUP forms (2 forms required) in Genesis Parent Access (important guidelines for parents and students are listed on these forms) prior to device pickup. (Forms will be ready in Genesis by Mid August)
- Only a parent or guardian that is a contact in Genesis Parent Access is allowed to pick up the Chromebook.
- A parent/guardian photo ID will be required to confirm identity. Student ID number will be required for check-in.
Times and location for pickups (entrances will be clearly marked on days of pickup):
Under the Science eaves (large area of windows) to the right of the main entrance at:

Please park in a parking spot in the high school lot and proceed to the area underneath the large wall of windows. The first station will be marked.
Dates for pickup:
1:00pm-4:00pm : Wednesday, August 19th - 5th through 8th Graders with Last Name beginning A-L
1:00pm-4:00pm : Thursday, August 20th - 5th through 8th Graders with Last Name beginning M-Z
4:00pm-7:00pm (evening slot) : Wednesday, August 26th - ALL 5th through 8th Graders
If you cannot make your specified time slot, you may come to a different one.
Optional but highly encouraged: yearly Chromebook Insurance Plan.
Insurance plan payment can be dropped off at device pick up (in envelope please.)
Insurance plans can also be purchased via Payschools online payment.
